Date Night Makeup with L'BRI PURE n' NATURAL

When it comes to date night makeup, my go-to is always a great eyeliner. You just can't go wrong with a well-defined cat eye or a sultry smokey eye. Today I want to show you both looks, using my favorite makeup picks from L'BRI PURE n' NATURAL. The cat eye is a slightly different take on the look, and the smokey eye is so quick and easy to create, you'll be able to go from day to evening in under 5 minutes!

I started with the L'BRI Flawless Finish Foundation. Formulated with aloe, calendula, and sodium hyaluronate (a more effective form of hyaluronic acid); this foundation is both hydrating and soothing. It offers build-able, flawless coverage, and best of all, does not settle into wrinkles and fine lines. My favorite shade is the Flawless Finish Foundation in "Bare". You can order a pack of Foundation Samples, so you can find the perfect shade for your skin tone. For dark under-eye circles, I used the L'BRI Concealer Wand in Light Neutral and covered up excess shine with the Perfect Finish powder. The Perfect Finish Dual Action Compacts at L'BRI are so convenient and offer a soft matte oil-free coverage. For a little color on the cheeks, I used the Believable Finish Blush in Soft Mauve. It's such a beautiful blush if you have cool undertones.

I kept the eye shadow very simple with both of these looks, because I really wanted the eyeliner to shine. I added a bit of highlight and sparkle with the L'BRI Pearl Eye Shadow in Lily. Simply dab some on the inner corners of your eyes and underneath the brow bones to really open up the eyes.

The real star of the show in both of these looks is the Velvet Touch Retractable Eyeliner in Black. I really love this formula! While I prefer soft black eyeliner to liquid liner, I usually find them to be a bit too subtle, and definitely not smudge-proof. Though this L'BRI eyeliner went on smooth like a kohl liner with the staying power of a liquid!!

On the first look (pictured above) I made a simple winged eyeliner with the addition of a double line. It's really important to start with the lower lash line for this look, or you won't have enough room for both lines. Simply extend the eyeliner past your lower lash line with a bit of a downward angle, following the natural crease of the outer corner of your eyelid. Then start the top line slightly above and a little further out from the lower line, and work your way in over the upper lash line. I kept mine understated, but the great thing about this look is you can make it as exaggerated as you want simply by drawing the lines further out from your eyes.

The trick to any great eye makeup look is to expect that you will make mistakes. No one gets it perfect every time when it comes to winged eyeliner. Be prepared with cotton swabs and concealer to clean up any rough edges or mistakes.

Whenever you need to create a sexy makeup look but don't have a lot of time, a smokey eye is your best bet. I created this look in just a few minutes using nothing but the L'BRI eyeliner and my finger to blend it quickly. I drew on a very large area, halfway up my lids and from the inner corner to the outer corner and took my finger tip back and forth over the liner until it blended and softened to create this smokey eye. Whether you're pressed for time or you're a beginner with makeup, this is by far the easiest and most fool-proof way to create the perfect smokey eye.

Just like with the first look, I simply added a bit of highlight and shimmer with the Lily eye shadow by placing a bit on the inner corner and under the brow bones. With each look I used the L'BRI Lash Building Mascara in Black. It is definitely a lash building mascara. I have very thin and short lashes, and this mascara managed to make them look thicker and longer for sure.

With a strong eye makeup look, you can go minimal with the rest of your makeup. I finished both looks with the L'BRI Lip Gloss in Barely There. It's the perfect nude lip color to add some hydrating gloss and shine.

So the next time you have a date night or a girls-night-out planned after work, all you need for your makeup is this lip gloss and eyeliner!

I am such a fan of all of the makeup at L'BRI PURE n' NATURAL. Every time I try something from there, I'm so impressed with the quality. I'd call it a luxury brand if it weren't for the incredibly affordable prices. Every product I've mentioned is between $10 and $20 on average.
