I've been a long-time fan of Taupe Coat. It's a woman-owned independent nail polish brand that supports charitable causes, and their 10-free vegan nail colors are so beautiful! The unique shades are as modern and cool as their packaging, and the formula is high-quality and long-lasting.
My favorite Taupe Coat shade this season has been Melt My Heart. At first glance I thought it was a soft opaque white, but upon application, I noticed the most lovely subtle pink undertone. Of all of the nail polish I've posted on Instagram recently, this one has received the biggest reaction from viewers, and it's easy to see why...it is just so pretty!
While I've never been a big fan of plain white nail polish, this shimmery semi-sheer white nail color really won me over. Its opalescent finish adds such a beautiful sheen and makes it look great on all skin tones. Aptly named Pearlie, it's so beautiful for Winter and will be perfect for Spring as well.
Blue is always in my rotation during Winter, whether it be a light icy blue or a vampy dark navy. Though it was my first time to swatch this beautiful blue called Mind Your Business. It's a lovely classic blue and looks great sheer or opaque, depending on how many layers you apply. And it just so happens to be the Pantone 2020 color of the year!
With Valentine's Day being the next holiday (though I don't have any plans), I've got my mind on date-night makeup. I have a lot of pink and red flatlays and tutorials planned, as that comes with the job. It's the perfect time for a classic red lip and a bold red mani. The Taupe Coat K St. red is such a classic! It looks so beautiful on its own, though it looks great with a sparkly accent nail too.
