Review: L'BRI PURE n' NATURAL High Antioxidant Night Repair Treatment

Sometimes we treat skin issues from opposite directions, for example whenever our skin is dry, we come at it with hydration. That is just common sense, but sometimes in skincare we should move with the current instead of against it. Antioxidant facial care has become very trendy in daytime products, though our bodies (and skin) can really benefit from antioxidants at night. The L'BRI PURE n' NATURAL High Antioxidant Night Repair Treatment works with your body's natural nightly process to optimize the time your skin is doing most of its repairing and renewing.



When we take into account what our skin does during nighttime, it only makes sense that an antioxidant-rich serum should be a regular part of a p.m. beauty routine. For instance, as melatonin is released and we begin to wind down around 9p.m., our skin starts to wind down as well, and it goes into repair mode. Further into the night hours,

from about 11p.m. to 4a.m., our skin kicks into renewal mode and can regenerate with two and even three times as much cell production.

Green tea, for example, is best for soothing; while Vitamin C is great for brightening dull skin and boosting collagen production.


Polyphenols, found in several of the antioxidant ingredients mentioned above, help to both protect the skin from damage and help enhance the skin's cell growth. According to Science of Skin research regarding the effects of polyphenols on the skin, these powerful antioxidants are effective when consumed or when applied topically. And again, it's most helpful to apply these ingredients during the nighttime.


It's during this time of rapid cell regeneration that our skin is also most susceptible to dehydration.

The hydrating and moisturizing ingredients in the L'BRI Night Repair serum treats that dehydration with a three-pronged approach. Hyaluronic acid helps draw more hydration into the skin, while squalane helps to prolong the hydration, and nourishing sunflower seed oil (also rich in the antioxidant Vitamin E) offers rich moisture.

It can be a little discouraging as the older I get, the more I find out that my body produces less of all of the things that, well, would keep me looking younger.
