Review: SanRe Organic Skinfood Footsie Fiesta Foot Therapy Salve

Updated: Feb 27, 2019

I put so much time and effort into my facial care routine, though I’ve unfortunately neglected foot care recently. I was so happy to review the SanRe Organic Skinfood Footsie Fiesta Foot Therapy Salve. The skin on my heels had gotten so dry and cracked. It was definitely time to give my feet some extra care.

It’s so important to use a special balm or salve on your feet that you wouldn’t use on the rest of your body. The skin on our feet can get so much more dry, and we can get more bacteria on our feet, that any old lotion or body cream isn’t always enough. The SanRe Footsie Fiesta foot therapy salve is very thick and smooth in texture. As soon as I dug into it, I knew it was going to be very smoothing and healing. Made with olive oil and beeswax, it's perfect for deeply moisturizing rough skin on the heels and around the ankles.

The biggest benefits of Olive oil for the skin are that it deeply penetrates and offers long-lasting moisture. The beeswax helps to form a protective barrier to seal in the moisture; and its anti-bacterial, anti-viral, and anti-inflammatory properties help combat chapped and irritated skin that can especially happen during the dry colder months. I've certainly experienced extra-dry air this season, and with it dry cracked skin on my feet. This SanRe foot therapy salve really helped to moisturize and seal up those areas on my feet after the first use.

The other ingredients I love in the SanRe Footsie Fiesta Foot Therapy Salve is the combination of healing essential oils. The skincare benefits of peppermint essential oil, for example; include anti-fungal, moisturizing, and pain-relieving properties. Thus the SanRe foot salve can help prevent or reduce fungus and nail infections. Even better, the peppermint essential oil can reduce pain both by the scent and the cooling sensation it provides upon application. Also know for improving skin tone, the peppermint essential oil in this foot salve can help lighten dark spots. I do struggle with dark spots on my toes and around my ankles, so I look forward to seeing them lighten with continued use.

The spearmint and eucalyptus essential oils in the SanRe Footsie Fiesta have a lot of the same anit-viral, anti-bacterial, and soothing properties as the peppermint. The addition of cornmint essential oil helps to soothe aching feet at the end of a long day. I often struggle with sore feet so much that I have to use a foot massager every evening. The cornmint essential oil in this foot salve can improve circulation and has anti-inflammatory properties, both of which help relive aching feet.

The star ingredient in this SanRe foot therapy salve is menthol crystals, which is a solid constituent of peppermint oil, taken from mint leaves. This powerhouse ingredient can reduce itching, inflammation, and irritation. Along with the topical benefits, the aromatherapy benefits include stress and anxiety reduction as well. It really is a great way to relax at the end of a busy day.

Best of all, the SanRe Organic Skinfood Footsie Fiesta Foot Therapy Salve contains only these all-natural organic ingredients, so you don't have to worry about any toxic ingredients. SanRe Organic Skinfood is cruelty-free, gluten-free, organic, and non-GMO. The foot therapy salve comes in a 2 o.z. glass jar that retails for $20.99, which I think is a great price for this highly-recommended product.
