The March Edit

Updated: Mar 30

Okay seriously guys, where on earth did February go? I know I’m not the only one feeling a bit rushed and behind. I see you other beauty influencers getting your February faves posted over a week into March. And here I am with the monthly edit finally.

It’s really the first month of 2020 that I’ve gotten fully back into the swing of things, with photography clients and new sponsors. I’m excited to share my new picks for the month and give you a peek into what I’m testing this March. With Spring coming up, though some lingering cold weather for some of you, I've got something for everyone this month.

I'm glad that I just so happened to have a hand sanitizer to review this month. While the coronavirus has not yet hit our state in large numbers, flu season is also upon us, so I was happy to receive a new antibacterial gel this month. At Soulistic Root, the Natural Hand Sanitizer is made with a blend of pure essential oils, witch hazel, and vitamin E for an effective sanitizer that won't dry out hands. Even better, the combination of lavender, rosemary and eucalyptus offers a pleasantly scented sanitizer that doesn’t have an overwhelming scent of alcohol. Though they've recently changed the formula to include 70% alcohol in order to adhere to CDC guidelines.

For those of you with Winter weather hanging around (and with that dry skin), I have the creamiest, dreamiest of products from Susan & Me that you simply must try! The Daily Dose Omega Moisture Butter is made with super rich oils and plant butters to nourish, restore, and protect even the driest of skin.

I'm also testing their Daily Dose Superseed Hydrating Face Oil, and so far I'm loving how balancing, nourishing, and moisturizing it is. This all-natural face oil is made with some of my favorite skincare ingredients like sativa seed oil and clary sage essential oil. Sativa seed, also known as hemp seed, is packed with skin-loving nutrients; and clary sage essential oil is great at balancing skin for a clear complexion.

With warmer weather heading our way, it's time to start thinking about sandal weather. I'll be sharing tips on how to get your feet sandal-ready as I review the L'BRI PURE n' NATURAL Rejuvenating Foot Cream. I've been using it a lot already, since I received one in a holiday gift set. Just like everything else I've tried from L'BRI, I really like it!

The peppermint oil in this foot cream is not only soothing on tired feet, but it also has skin softening properties that that help to smooth and lighten spots where your skin might be more thick and dark, like on dry knuckles and around the heel. Lactic acid in this foot cream also acts as a gentle exfoliator for smoother, younger looking skin. With such great softening and smoothing

The addition of arnica and menthol further help with relieving aching feet, so I love to put this on in bed at the end of the work day. Ingredients like aloe and sunflower seed oil add hydration and moisture. For soft sandal-ready feet, exfoliate with a nice body scrub then follow with this rich soothing Rejuvenating Foot Cream. It's such as easy way to add a little self care time to any day.

For a refreshing facial mist, I'll be reviewing the Earth Mist Facial Toner by a wonderful natural skincare brand called Wild Magic Beauty. It's made with rose water, aloe, and witch hazel - some of my must-have ingredients in any facial mist. Rose is not only balancing but anti-bacterial as well. The rosewater combined with aloe and witch hazel is such a great way to keep skin balanced and blemish-free no matter which skin type you have.

This Wild Magic Beauty toning face mist has the added benefits of ginseng, green tea, and calendula. So far I'm loving the eco-friendly packaging, the way the bottle sprays (so important in a facial mist!), and the relaxing natural scent.

If you follow me on Insta, you probably know that I've been searching and searching for the perfect concealer. I have dark under-eye circles as well as fine lines; so while I need coverage, I also need hydration and a formula that won't accentuate my wrinkles.

It's been near impossible to find a concealer that is both hydrating and plumping while also offering the right amount of coverage. The Liquid Concealer by Gibson Girl Beauty however is made with an anti-aging, hydrating, and de-puffing formula that offers medium coverage. I can't wait to put it to the test and will hopefully be able to say that I've finally found my holy-grail concealer.

Last and certainly not least is a unique natural skincare brand I introduced you guys too earlier this year. Hallistic provides all-natural, organic, and vegan skin food skincare that has been handcrafted with love by a husband and wife team with a background in the vegan culinary arts.

With products like their Green Tea Smoothie and Cacoa Truffle Exfoliator (now available in a full size) they've succeeded in creating a rich user experience. Check out the Cacoa Truffle Exfoliator on their site for an immersive chocolate experience, complete with video!

I'm so happy to say that I am now a Hallistic affiliate, meaning I will earn a percentage on qualifying purchases. This is a brand I wholeheartedly believe in, from the wonderful skincare they create to their eco-conscious and vegan-friendly practices. If you make a purchase at Hallistic, please use my code Krisztina15 to receive a 15% discount!

Stay tuned on Instagram for a more thorough review on each of these products this month, and I promise to make time for a faves roundup vlog at the end of the month as well!
